We use a stoneware clay body that is fired twice for strength and durability. All pieces are fully vitrified and glazed with 100% lead free and food safe glazes. All items are microwave and dishwasher safe (with the exception of the gold lustered pieces).
Unglazed bottoms are water and stain resistant but not stain proof. Please clean strong colored food from these surfaces immediately to keep them blemish free.
Pottery will crack if transferred directly from the fridge or freezer to a hot oven or microwave. Please allow for a gradual change in temperature to avoid thermal shock to the pieces.
